Welcome to the Alfred Dunhill Championship
The 2025 Alfred Dunhill Championship will, for this year only, be played at the venerable Royal Johannesburg Golf Club’s East Championship Course.
The Championship returns to Johannesburg where it was first played between 2000 and 2004 when it produced winners of the calibre of Adam Scott and Justin Rose, before it moved to its traditional home of Leopard Creek and a new era of champions in Major winners and former world no.1 golfers such as Charl Schwartzel and Ernie Els.

The Alfred Dunhill Championship has an illustrious history with a list of former World Number One golfers, Major winners, Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup players having featured in the tournament over the years.
Championship Format
A 72-hole stroke play championship, played in accordance with the Rules of Golf of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, the DP World Tour and the Sunshine Tour Tournament Rules.
